What to do with future distrust

Reality can't already be now under so much pressure
Distrustful and willful somehow plague the future
Even in the light we used to squint to see demands
How things changed from a slow past to greedy hands
Worse could be said of naivity and rose colored glasses
Wolves dressed in sheeps clothing deceiving the masses
Now became then while the patient remained hopeful
The midst of the journey time told however grateful
To not honor the past seemed less than authentic
For we started one step at a time until times ended
The shame would be for the future in my imagination
to discourage dreamers from dreaming in future generations
That the light we used to squint to see demands
Would change from a learned past into praying hands
